Festival of lights is back in Kuala Lumpur. Deepavali is celebrated to commemorate the return of Rama from his 14 years of exile. During the exile he fought many battles against evil and the demon king Raavana. Deepavali carnival is organized annually in Kuala Lumpur and is termed as the largest and longest running Indian event which is organised outside India revealing the extraordinary diversity of Indian culture.
