With subtitles in 37 languages and dubbed in 34 languages, it has reached number one in 90 countries. The series has attracted 111 million views in first 17 days of its release on Netflix. Squid game has created enormous impact on Serial Bingers who are loving everything related to the series whether its symbolism used in its storytelling, memes created on it, souvenirs and even face masks. These pictures were taken at a recent promotional event in Malaysia by Netflix. Plenty of fan moments were observed where people were wearing teal uniforms, white shoes and wanted to take clicks with 12-foot giant creepy doll saying “Green Light Red Light” in Korean and red uniformed Army. According to a Deloitte poll, a global advisory group, because of the growing popularity of Korean content, the Netflix’s investment in Korean drama industry has helped create about 16,000 jobs based on the investments of around 770 billion won.
